Mr. Lufkin holds a Bachelor of Arts from St. Lawrence University. Prior to establishing his company, he spent 13 years at Franklin Templeton Investments, where he served as executive vice president and portfolio manager. From 1992 to 1997, he managed a $350 fund for the company, investing in fixed income. He produced 12.5 percent per year during that period. Mr. Lufkin also gained industry experience as the vice president of Security Pacific Merchant Bank and the vice president of manufacturers for Hanover Trust.
