Michigan elder law & VA accredited attorney, Christopher J. Berry, Esq. will be donating his time and legal services to any veterans that need assistance with their estate planning, elder law, or veterans benefits needs on Veterans Day, Nov. 11.

Berry, Esq., will be donating his time and legal services to veterans on Veterans Day, November 11, 2011. Any Michigan veterans can call into his office, the Michigan Elder Law Center, at 248-481-4000 and request free assistance with their estate planning, elder law, or veterans benefits legal needs.

Michigan elder law attorney, Christopher J. Berry, Esq. has dedicated his practice to assisting Michigan seniors, veterans and their families navigate the long-term care legal maze through the Michigan Elder Law Center and his law firm Witzke Berry Carter & Wander PLLC. He is well regarded as an expert in his field in helping veterans qualify for the non-service connected Aid & Attendance benefit and has been featured nationally in the elder law publication NAELA News, which is published by the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.

If you or a member of your family is an honorably discharged veteran who served at least one day during a period of wartime (the definition of "wartime" may be broader than you think), and if you are in an assisted living facility or are spending several hundred dollars a month or more on the cost of your health care, then you may qualify for benefits under the VA Aid and Attendance Pension Program. A veterans and their family could potentially qualify for thousands of dollars a month in aid to help pay for long-term care costs.
