Label Your Stuff Launches the World's First Video Gift Labels

Colorado-based company, Label Your Stuff, launches new interactive video gift label product in time for 2011 holiday shopping season.

CENTENNIAL, CO, December 01, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Label Your Stuff has announced the debut of video gift labels, the world's first way for holiday shoppers and other gift givers to send a custom video clip with a personalized message on the presents that they gift to people. Using Microsoft Tag technology and the Microsoft Tag Reader application available for any smart phone, friends and family can see video clips uploaded to Label Your Stuff, a Colorado-based nationwide provider of labels, on their mobile device.

"Video gift labels represent the future of how we can personalize the gifts we give to friends and loved ones," said Gary Goldwasser, Vice-President of Label Your Stuff. "We are really excited to be the first ones to execute this concept."

When a customer purchases video gift labels from LabelYourStuff.com, they will receive a confirmation email directing them to a page where they can upload a video. The clips need to be relatively short, not exceeding 20MB. The clip is then converted and a Microsoft Tag is created and printed on to a standard gift label. When the recipient of the gift uses the Microsoft Tag Reader on their smart phone, they will be taken to the custom video clip and will be able to see and hear the gift giver's message.

Customers can order sheets of labels, and 24 labels come on a single sheet. Label Your Stuff recommends that customers keep their messages relatively simple and somewhat generic. That way they can send the same video to everyone. An uploaded video clip stays active for 90 days after the original upload.

"The really cool thing is you can be as creative as you want in creating and editing your video," continued Mr. Goldwasser. "Because the video can be up to 20MB you can make your video about 2 minutes long, depending on the quality, the versatility of the message you make is what we think will get people really excited."

With the increasing adoption of smart phones enabled with video cameras, and the ease of availability in getting the Microsoft tag reader, interactive video gift labels can be used by a wide demographic of people. With the holidays just around the corner, Label Your Stuff is hoping to capitalize on individuals looking for really fun and unique way to make their gifts memorable.

About Label Your Stuff
Label Your Stuff was founded in 2003 in Denver Colorado, by two moms. They decided to start Label Your Stuff because they both knew how busy we all are, especially with children, and keeping track of everything can be a challenge. They wanted the product to be useful and, ideally, to create something that other people would find useful too. Today Label Your Stuff does just that helping busy parents keep track of everything in an organized way, through the use of items such as clothing labels, labels for school, bag tags, allergy alerts, and much more.
