Santa's New Sleigh is Big News for Kids Who Track Santa Claus on Christmas Eve

To keep up with the skyrocketing number of toys to deliver, Santa Claus has added a second, very, very, very large sleigh. As the first major upgrade to the toy delivery system in 200 years, it will greatly simplify tracking Santa's sleigh.

MARIETTA, GA, December 21, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- In the first major upgrade to his toy delivery system in 200 years, Santa Claus has added a second sleigh. Sources close to Santa say the move had been contemplated for years, as the number of good little girls and boys grew and grew, causing the number of toys to deliver to skyrocket.

The little red sleigh had not carried all the toys at one time since 1846. Santa and the reindeer had simply begun flying back to the Toy Workshop to reload. That was no problem for 5 or 50 or even 502 flights. But last year it took 5,002 flights and the reindeer finally ran completely out of gas. Santa realized that with even more toys to deliver in the future, it was time to go to Plan B.

Under Plan B, Santa Claus will still use the little red sleigh for deliveries, but he will add a second, very, very, very large sleigh to serve as a flying Toy Workshop, capable of carrying every toy for every good little girl and boy. So instead of having to fly the little red sleigh back and forth to the North Pole to reload, Santa can reload it in seconds wherever he is. This will greatly simplify tracking Santa Claus on his way to a child's house.

The new "Great Sleigh," as Santa calls it, is the brainchild of the Elves. It sports a Super-Dooper Double-Looper power plant that generates a remarkable 25,000 RDP (Reindeer Power). The vast Toy Deck is connected directly to Santa's Nice List, so he can reload with exactly the right toy for each good little girl and boy. And the Reindeer Deck has to be seen to be believed with its Carrot Cafe, bowling alley, and swimming pool.
