Emmanuel Anosike Utilizes his Extensive Expertise to Make a Positive Impact on the Small Businesses of New York

NEW YORK, NY, February 15, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Emmanuel C. Anosike, Director of Bonding and Technical Assistance at the Department of Small Business Services for The City of New York, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in business development.

As the director of bonding and technical assistance for New York City's Department of Small Business Services, he oversees risk assessment on contractual documents, manages business procurement for goods and services and looks to bid on any kind of project from a local, state and federal level. In addition, he trains and mentors others through classroom lectures and courses. Mr. Anosike has worked for 24 years with this busy city agency. His expertise lies in providing technical advice on any issue in the procurement process. He is also experienced in contract review, contract management, project management, construction management, and administration. Additionally, he is adept at surety representations, training, contract documents, cost estimates, and bidding, and possesses skill in acquisitions, teaming arrangements, dispute resolutions, feasibility and impact statements.

Attributing his success to being well-rounded in many areas, such as engineering, procurement, and construction, Mr. Anosike believes that knowledge is power. He became involved in his profession because he is a civil engineer by trade and felt that providing assistance through the procurement process was a good way to help people, and was very rewarding.

In 1986, Mr. Anosike earned a Master of Science in environmental services from Goddard College. In 1985, he received a Bachelor of Science in technical services from Edison State College. Previously, he had earned another Bachelor of Science, this one in civil engineering from the The University of Houston Cullen College of Engineering. He is a former member of the Association of Technical Writers. Winning various awards over the span of his 24-year career, Mr. Anosike was recognized with the Minority Business Development Agency Award. Looking to the future, Mr. Anosike plans to be a corporate leader in a multinational company and wants to help them to build, expand and grow, especially in energy and related industries.
