BROOKLYN, NY, March 29, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Nina Kudriavtseva-Loory, artistic director of the international ballet Prize Benois de la Danse, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in the dance world.

With 20 years of experience as artistic director and co-founder of Benois de la Danse, Ms. Kudriavtseva-Loory specializes in classical ballet, but is familiar with most kinds of dance. She produces the Awards ceremony and gala of nominees each year at the Bolshoi Theater of Russia, working with the judges, nominees and all of the other participants. She also arranges the programs of other Benois de la Danse events throughout the world. Nina Kudriavtseva-Loory became involved in her profession through her passion for dance, which has been with her from childhood.

Ms. Loory danced for 20 years at the Bolshoi Ballet and later was chief of the repertory department of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia for 14 years before moving to the United States with her husband. She carries on her Benois de la Danse work from New York.

For many years she worked translating French literature into Russian. Her works included 15 novels and short stories of Prosper Merime, Maurice Druon, Herve Bazin, Bernard Clavel, Alexandre Dumas, Georges Simenon, Françoise Sagan and others. Ms. Kudriavtseva-Loory earned a diploma from the Moscow Ballet School. She is a member of Writers Union of Russia, Theatrical Union of Russia, and serves as Secretary of International Union of Choreography.
