Ms. Castel is a respected business immigration attorney with a decade of international experience. She was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, where she earned her B.Proc. law degree from the University of Johannesburg in 1993, at the age of 21. She went to earn her Honors Degree in Latin in 1995 and her Master's Degree in Latin (cum laude) in 1998, also from the University of Johannesburg. After practicing in South Africa, she moved to the United States in 1997 and restudied her law degree, obtaining her J.D. Degree from Georgia State College of Law in 2003, at which time she began to practice in Atlanta, Georgia. Ms. Castel recently relocated to Austin, Texas, in October 2010, where she continues to practice from beautiful downtown.

Ms. Castel is uniquely suited to this area of practice as she is multilingual and is very experienced at working with persons of multicultural background. Toni was chosen by her peers as a "Rising Star" in the Atlanta Magazine in 2009, 2010, and again in 2011. In November 2009, she was chosen as an "Up & Comer 40 under 40" by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. She established the South African American Chamber of Commerce of the Southeast for which she served as President 2009-2010.

Toni served on the Board of Directors of the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers from 2006 to 2010. Toni has also won numerous awards from GAWL for her participation. Toni is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, the Atlanta Bar, the Georgia State Bar, the Austin Bar, the Travis County Women Lawyers' Association, and Texas Women Lawyers. In 2006, she was also elected by her peers as a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation.

Toni speaks regularly on topics relating to investing in Africa, particularly Southern Africa, and as well as the nuances of doing business across borders.
