For more than 30 years, Ms. Guinn-Life has excelled as a luminary and remained dedicated to growing as an artist and creative illustrator. Specializing in the illustration of children's books, and in portraiture, Ms. Guinn-Life currently works from home not using any computer programs. Ever passionate about her work, Ms. Guinn-Life uses her own photographs or those of others to depict her unique illustrations, and also creates images using live models. Ms. Guinn-Life raised her family and went back to school to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Massachusetts College of Art and Design at the age of 50. She illustrated children's books, many of which are listed on Wikipedia and 'The (Boston) Children's Hospital Guide to your Child's Health and Development' in 2000. She is an amazing artist who has not let anything stand in the way of going back to school to receive her degree in illustration. She attributes her success to her passion and to the fact that she could use pencil and paint in a way that expresses her love of children, books and the written word. Ms. Guinn-Life was a recipient of the prestigious Annie B. Blake Award. In five years, Ms. Guinn-Life hopes to publish a children's book she has written and is illustrating that deals with environmental issues.
