Ms. Schalk has 17 years of experience in her field and one year of experience in her present position as director of worldwide enablement. Her areas of expertise include content transformation, course development, high profile event execution and public speaking with instruction. Prior to acquiring her present position, Ms. Schalk worked as the director of worldwide sales enablement at Hewlett-Packard, with responsibility for sales enablement covering an audience of more than 3,000 sales professionals within Hewlett Packard and its business partners. She has also held positions as the director of European, Middle Eastern and African (EMEA) sales operations, and sales readiness and marketing for CA Technologies, PeopleSoft and System Software Associates. In addition, Ms. Schalk held positions at JBA South Africa and Informix South Africa.

Ms. Schalk is a veteran of the software industry with a superb track record in marketing, sales, and operations. One of her greatest passions is public speaking. She has spoken on numerous topics at prestigious conferences, including the Conference on Data Privacy Laws & Business held at Cambridge University and Marcus Evans conferences focusing on sales effectiveness, key account management and effective networking. She has also spoken at the United Sales Professional Association of Southern Africa. Her experience includes delivering highly acclaimed lectures in more than 30 countries on a wide range of subjects, including customer relations management, account planning, solution selling, chief-executive-level selling, provocative selling, data privacy, consultative conversations and sales coaching. Ms. Schalk is currently a qualified speaker for Tear Fund, a Christian organization working against poverty and social injustice. In addition, she often speaks on South Africa for the elderly, speaks at conferences for the underprivileged, and runs workshops. Born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, Ms. Schalk is now based in the United Kingdom. She has traveled to more than 200 cities and towns across 40 countries.

Ms. Schalk received her diploma in public relations and English for business communications from Kelly Green Oaks Business College in Johannesburg, South Africa, and completed various classes and training courses both in her field and in a host of other areas. She is the founder of Work Angel Wisdom and sits on the board of trustees at Wokingham Vineyard Church. Presently, Ms. Schalk is a member of the PeopleSoft Alumni Association and the by invitation only Sales & Marketing Executives and the Sales Enablement Leader Exchange, to name a few. Her former affiliations include the World Wide Sales Advisory Council and World Wide Sales Systems Inventory Council, both in California. In 2012, she was both a featured speaker and ambassador nominee at the Forrester Technology Sales Enablement Forum.
