Sarasota, Florida, June 4, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Tamas Zettner, the President & CEO of Racecontrol, Inc. and Folda USA, Inc., has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in motorsport safety and security services.

Currently, Dr. Zettner serves as the President & Chief Executive Officer of Racecontrol, Inc. and of Folda USA, Inc. He is responsible for managing the administration and financial details of both companies. Racecontrol, Inc. in the field of motorsport manages race control operations, provides safety, officials training, online marshals, event management software and race log software. Folda USA, Inc. provides security services, such as security guards, bodyguards, threat assessments, and complex security systems.

Dr. Zettner has worked in motorsports for 26 years. He was a former go-kart driver, and started in his profession in Budapest, Hungary in 1986 when the Hungaroring racing circuit was opened and the first Formula One event was held. From 1992, he was the permanent race director of the Hungaroring circuit. He started his international career in 2005, organizing trainings for race officials in Istanbul, Turkey, preparing the very first Turkish Formula One Grand Prix. In 2009, he was hired by the FIA Institute to work out the worldwide officials training program. In 2010, he joined the staff of Abu Dhabi Motorsport Management LLC as head of sporting, on the wonderful Yas Marina Circuit which hosted Formula One events since 2009. He is the only person involved in his current role in both motorcycle and automobile sports. He sought to relocate to Florida, where he became the president of Folda USA, Inc. in 2011.

Dr. Zettner attributes his success primarily to the great race directors and clerks of the courses with whom he has been lucky to work. Secondly, he is grateful to have been able to restructure the marshals' and race control's operations, and create a new officials hierarchy and officials training methods and develop very unique race control software solutions. The highlights of his career include the many great actions of his marshals, taken to save riders and drivers. Dr. Zettner received his honorary doctoral degree in Safety and Security in Motorsport from Pro Deo University in New York, and completed coursework in Mechanical Engineering in Budapest, Hungary in 1981. He is a member of the FIM CCR road racing commission and has belonged to the CCR Bureau since 2012. When he's not working, Dr. Zettner enjoys ski training and computer programming.
