Trucking for Tsunami

With the death toll surpassing over 150,000 thus far in Asia due to the Tsunami and calls for donations of food, clothing and money mounting, Gateway Logistics Services is responding.

According to company spokesperson Scott Gingold, "the magnitude of this loss of life and tragedy is almost beyond comprehension. The need for humanitarian and other relief is enormous and we simply can not ignore that call for help." Gateway will donate 1% of its net profits during the months of January and February and will send this donation to USA Freedom Corps (http://www.usafreedomcorps.gov), which has been endorsed by President George W. Bush as well as former Presidents George H.W. Bush and William (Bill) J. Clinton.

Gateway Logistics Services is a third-party freight logistics intermediary with specific locations specializing in coast-to-coast movements for van, reefer, flatbed, and oversized shipments. Gateway is a woman-owned and small business entity based in Hemet, CA.

"Our donation will apply to current customers as well as any new customers that ship with us during January and February. Based on initial current and prospective customer feedback, I can already see where we may extend this program" Mr. Gingold reports.
