Finn, President and Chief Executive Officer of Commonwealth Mediation and Conciliation, Inc., has been named a Worldwide Who's Who Professional of the Year in Mediation & Arbitration. Mr. Finn began his legal career in 1977 after graduating from the New England School of Law. After practicing general law for many years, his focus shifted to alternative dispute resolution. Since 1992, he has served as president and CEO of Commonwealth Mediation and Concilation, Inc. Mr. Finn is the lead arbitrator and mediator of the firm, which handles all types of civil claims, such as employment disputes, contract disputes, discrimination disputes, personal injury cases, product liability cases, property damage cases and more.

Mr. Finn personally works with 300 to 400 cases per year. Over the past two decades, he has mediated more than 7,000 claims locally and throughout the U.S. He is the author of volume 47 of the Massachusetts Practice Series' "Mediation and Arbitration." Mr. Finn considers his success to his persistence and passion for his work.

Prior to attaining a JD, Mr. Finn earned a master's degree in government studies from Harvard University and a bachelor's degree from Stonehill College. He is affiliated with the Plymouth County Bar Association, Inc., Boston Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys and the Association of Conflict Resolution. Mr. Finn looks forward to continuing his work in the coming years.
