EDEN PRAIRIE, MN, June 21, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Matthew A. Norgren, the founder of Norgren Industries, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in industrial design in the industry of energy generation.

Mr. Norgren founded Norgren Industries five years ago, and since then, the company has made its mark globally in the area of industrial design and engineering and continues to produce energy-efficient innovations that reduce environmental impact and help usher in a new era of sustainability. Mr. Norgren's responsibilities include managing the daily operations of the company, working in the development phases and expanding the company's presence and product line.

Mr. Norgren attributes his success to his perseverance, his mentors in the industry and God. He became involved in his profession because of an idea he had at a young age while working on a Buick 455 cubic inch big block V8. He was amazed at all the intricacies of each working part and how it played into the larger system. There were many systems that he didn't comprehend and as he worked to fully understand them, he couldn't figure out why certain things were the way they were. As he thought of how he would have designed the systems, he recognized inconsistencies. He realized that a more efficient part can make a large change in such a system and was hooked.

Rebuilding things and redesigning systems was of great interest to Mr. Norgren and he always told himself that someone would make the changes necessary. As he grew older, he realized that no one was going to take the initiative. The models he designed inevitably brought Norgren Industries into existence. The most memorable highlight of his career so far would have to be his first time at SEMA (Specialty Equipment Manufacturing Association). After flying in to Las Vegas, he and his colleagues arrived at the convention center and this is when he knew that they really had a shot at expanding their company.

Mr. Norgren received his degree in finance and international business at Seattle Pacific University this June. He, along with his team won the 2012 School of Business Valuation Competition as audited by Moss Adams LLP. Over the next few years, he will continue to build his company and design more projects. There is a small chance that he will take some time off to pursue a Juris Doctorate. Moving forward with this company and expanding its products' international presence to increase the difference they make in the world are his main objectives. He is even considering moving the company to San Jose, California in order to be closer to other technology based companies.
