Ms. Pekoe has served as the owner and president of The Pekoe Group - a full-service marketing and advertising agency that provides grassroots marketing, social media, digital marketing and graphic design services to theatrical productions, nonprofit theatre organizations and attractions - since February 2009. She began her career in the entertainment industry as a theater major with a concentration in acting, but her work as a producer and director gave her a passion for business. Additionally, she guest teaches at Brooklyn College for the MFA program in performing arts management for first-semester students studying management, directing and dramaturgy. She holds a BFA in theater, with a concentration in acting, and an MFA in performing arts management from CUNY/Brooklyn College. Amanda is a member of SoHo House New York, the Players Club, the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center, the Broadway League and VH1's Save the Music Foundation., where she is a Young Benefactor. She serves on the Steering Committee for the Lincoln Center Theatre's Young Angels, was recently elected to the Board of Directors for the League of Professional Theatre Women, and is an Advisory Committee member for the New York Enterprise Report.
