Before commencing his entrepreneurial career, he was the Director of Governance for RBC Capital Markets and had other leadership roles in RBC, where he transitioned from his law career that began at the leading international firm, Baker & McKenzie LLP. Mr. Brooks was also a decorated officer (Capt. Ret'd) in the Canadian Airforce with specialties in Search & Rescue, Nav Flight Training and Intelligence. He attributes his success to the leadership examples and work ethic instilled by his family and to his early philosophy to choose a great boss over a great job title. Olin Fellowship in Law and Economics; a Law Degree from the University of Manitoba; a summa cum laude Bachelor's Degree in political science from McMaster University; and a Bachelor's Degree in administrative
