WESTPORT, CT, July 5, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jami Patterson, life coach at GROW Coaching, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in relationship building.

In 1987, Ms. Patterson became a graduate of Johnson and Wales University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in hospitality management. However, as she progressed through her career, she discovered her passion for inspiring others to grow and pursue their dreams. Because she hoped to be able to guide and offer assistance to more people, she decided to move into the coaching arena, where she has worked for the last five years.

She has since continued her studies through New York University; she has taken graduate-level courses in coaching through the school of continuing professional studies. Ms. Patterson has also begun a new career in this area, spending the last year as a life coach with GROW Coaching. In this role, she is able to utilize her strong listening skills in order to help clients create better futures for themselves. She works with clients who are struggling in their relationships, helping them reconnect through bonding and team exercises. These strategies may focus on building listening skills, in the case of parents and children, or on solidifying relations between intimate partners. Ms. Patterson aims to rebuild relationships that have been strained by certain life choices or stress.

She is involved with the International Coach Federation and offers support to various charitable organizations. Ms. Patterson plans to write a book about the fears that hold people back from accomplishing their goals; her aim is to inspire more people to live happier lives. She would also like to do more work to benefit the gay community.
