Mr. Roder earned a Master of Science in counseling from Creighton University and is a licensed therapist and professional counselor in Missouri. He has brought more than 35 years of expertise in depressive and bipolar disorders to his position as the behavioral health therapist for Roder Counseling Services, where he has worked for the past two decades. He is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the practice, providing therapy for depression, anxiety, panic disorders and marital and family problems, conducting pre-marriage evaluations for the church and addressing spiritual and moral issues such as guilt. Mr. Roder earned an undergraduate degree in education and classical language at Loras College and a bachelor's degree in theology in Rome. He served as a Catholic Priest for 10 years and is now married with three adult children. One of his greatest joys was writing and publishing a book entitled "Balance After Chaos," a series of essays and reflections based on the confusion, chaos and conflict from his own life and what he has observed in his clients. Chaos, he asserts, makes people unhappy and unhealthy, He hopes that this book will offer some BALANCE between the extremes. Paul continues to counsel clients and is working on a second book. When he is away from the office, Mr. Roder enjoys gardening, fishing and playing tennis.
