With 40 years of experience working in a corporate environment and as president of K9 Kuriers, Inc. for over 3 years, Mrs. Dunion specializes in a number of areas including scheduling flight arrangements for the United Schutzhund Clubs of America and private businesses, translation services, teaching canine sport search and rescue, pet sitting, handling finance and accounting. Mrs. Dunion has worked predominantly in the international airline arena in the capacities of customer service agent, manager of two major ticket offices and as a supervisor in customer relations.

In her current position, she is heavily involved in teaching people to understand the concept of canine search and rescue and translating. As she reflects on her past, she realizes the importance of several events in her life, including living and working in Europe as a young person, working for two major international airlines, British Airways in Germany and Lufthansa German Airlines in the United States, and becoming the main translator for three large dog organizations. However, the most important thing, Mrs. Dunion says, is that her dogs have always rewarded her with their spirit and character. She brings much of this into her daily work ethic. Her approach to handling customers and staff is to support each individual's strengths and blend in what she has learned from her dogs' characters. She explains: 'They do not speak, but tell you through their emotions what they need. Many people actually do the same. They may say something, but in fact really are telling you something different with their body language.' She has made numerous trips to Europe with her own dogs, escorting championship teams, escorting groups, and training with some of the region's top search and rescue trainers.

Looking to the future, Mrs. Dunion hopes to help people through specialized canine training and other services. She attributes her success to understanding people's needs and client relations. In addition, she has resolve and fortitude to move forward. The highlights of her career include titling her dogs to the highest level of competitive sport, becoming a manager for an international airline, and translating for prominent businesses and organizations.
