San Isabel WiMAX Plan approved by FCC

Decade-old telephone and data service provider in Vail and Breckenridge acquires 2.5 GHz licensed spectrum for business WiMAX services

/24-7PressRelease/ - DENVER, CO, June 13, 2007 - San Isabel Telecom, a provider of telephone and data solutions in the Vail and Aspen Colorado communities, is pleased to announce the acquisition of the 2.5 GHz EBS frequency spectrum in Eagle and Summit counties. The transaction, recently approved by the FCC, will allow San Isabel to deliver high quality voice, data, and video applications to residents and businesses throughout the area. San Isabel will utilize the revolutionary technology known as WiMAX to deliver high speed fixed and mobile services in Breckenridge, Keystone, Vail and Beaver Creek. This cutting edge network will be deployed in Vail and Beaver Creek in January, 2008 followed by a January, 2009 deployment in Breckenridge and Keystone.
