The Lozano Law Firm, PLLC Has Expanded Operations to Help With the Deferred Action Process

The Lozano Law Firm has expanded operations by expanding offices and hiring additional staff to help with the new Deferred Action process.

SAN ANTONIO, TX, August 03, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Lozano Law Firm, a San Antonio and San Angelo TX immigration law firm, has expanded operations by expanding offices and hiring additional staff to help with the new Deferred Action process.

"Unfortunately there is incorrect information being disseminated to the public regarding the new policy and Deferred Action process. It is important to receive correct information from an expert before taking action," said Attorney Alfredo Lozano, the owner of The Lozano Law Firm, PLLC.

As of June 15, 2012 the U.S. Government has stopped deporting certain undocumented immigrants. The new policy allows many young high school graduates and college students to continue their education and get jobs in the United States. There are specific requirements that must be met to be deemed eligible to qualify for the Deferred Action process. Candidates must be 30 years old or younger and have entered the country when they were 15 years old or younger and be current students, high school graduates, or GED recipients in order to apply for work authorization in the United States according to the new policy. The rules and regulations can be confusing. The Lozano Law Firm has launched a new website, http://www.dreamersaction.com, that was created specifically for those who are not sure if they qualify or are not sure how to proceed if they do qualify.

Potential Deferred Action candidates need to understand the regulations of the new policy. Deferred Action is a discretionary determination to defer removal action of an individual as an act of prosecutorial discretion. It is not a path to citizenship or amnesty and does not confer lawful status upon an individual. It also does not absolve individuals of any previous or subsequent periods of unlawful presence. An individual who has been granted deferred action is eligible to receive employment authorization for the period of deferred action, provided he or she can demonstrate "an economic necessity for employment".

The Lozano Law Firm is currently accepting new clients for this new Deferred Action process to help them prepare and be one of the first to send their applications. To keep clients and potential clients informed and updated about the policy, Attorney Alfredo Lozano is tweeting regularly.
