Mr. Robey has 25 years of experience in health information management, and has served the past 4 years as health information manager and privacy officer for Ramsay Healthcare SA - The Adelaide Clinic. He is responsible for overseeing all coding of the medical records and for the medico-legal requests of Ramsay Health Care in South Australia at its three locations, which provide psychiatric services.

Mr. Robey, who attributes his success to his hard work, perseverance and willingness to learn, became involved in his profession because, at the tender age of 19, he applied for a position as a medical records clerk at a local public hospital. After six years, he moved into the private sector. He has worked in various areas, gained substantial experience, and found that it has been a natural progression for him to grow to an executive level. A highlight of his career was in 2010 when he presented a report on paper versus electronic medical records, including the pros and cons, at the International Health Records Congress in Milan, Italy.

Mr. Robey received a Certificate IV Business Frontline Management from the Ramsay Training Institute. He is a member of the Health Information Management Association of Australia, the Clinical Coders' Society of Australia, and the International Federation of Health Information Management Associations. In the near future, he intends to start and complete his MBA, and move into a senior management role in health information management.
