Ms. Hoogendam parlays 32 years of professional experience into her position as the General Manager and Director of Operations and Business Development for Tim Hortons. Responsible for overseeing 19 stores within her Franchise group, she is an expert at maximizing revenues and profitability, finding and developing talent and motivating people. In addition to planning strategies, building the Tim Hortons brand and growing the business, Ms. Hoogendam is in charge of managing employees throughout the stores within the company, including district managers, human resources manager, and support staff. Prior to joining Tim Hortons, Ms. Hoogendam worked as a district manager at Wendy's International and The TDL Group, as well as a General Manager at Scott's Food Service.

Ms. Hoogendam's tenacity and drive to overcome obstacles and meet her goals stems from her positive attitude and motivated nature. She became involved in her profession through a realization in high school that she wanted a successful career in management and business, so she focused on preparing for that in her education. Ms. Hoogendam currently holds a Diploma in Business Management, with a concentration in Marketing, from St. Lawrence College. Away from the demands of her work, she enjoys running half marathons and will complete her first full marathon in 2012 to keep fit and help raise awareness for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada.
