Dr. Boscaglia has been a practicing osteopath for 12 years. She built a health and fitness center in the fire-ravaged town of Kinglake only three months after the fires tore through it in 2009. She is a local resident of the area and has lost her home in the bushfire. She and her husband pursued their dream and brought this health and fitness center to the community when it needed it the most. She has seen first-hand the absolute benefits of exercise on mental health and the importance of osteopathic treatment for post-traumatic stress.

She became involved in her profession because she was inspired by an osteopath when she was 16 years old. Dr. Boscaglia observed this doctor's work every school holiday for the next three years while she finished her high school studies. Now, the most gratifying aspect of her career is inspiring in patients a confidence in their own bodies. Dr. Boscaglia holds an osteopathic medical degree from Victoria University in Melbourne, a master's degree in osteopathy and a bachelor's degree in clinical science. She belongs to numerous organizations, such as the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and the Chiropractic and Osteopathic College of Australasia. Looking forward, Dr. Boscaglia intends to become a leader in her field, train fellow colleagues and future practitioners in symmetree Pilates, implement positive education in high schools, and teach symmetree Pilates to teenagers. She aspires to give them a better understanding of their own human machine and inspire greater respect for its capabilities.
