With over 15 years of experience, Ms. Ramiah is considered an expert in internal auditing. She has two years of experience in her role as director at KPMG New Zealand, a financial services company that provides audit, tax and advisory services. Well versed in risk management consulting, on a daily basis she is tasked with advising key clients with solutions in fraud, managing enterprise risk, compliance, and internal controls as well as overseeing managers and staff.

She became involved in her industry after earning a Bachelor of Commerce in Internal Auditing from the University of South Africa in 2001. Immediately after her completing school, she began working in the insurance industry. Armed with the experience of her first job, she decided to undertake her career aspirations of working in the internal auditing and risk management environment. In order to fortify her professional aptitude, she was certified as an internal auditor by the Institute of Internal Auditors in 2004.

Ms. Ramiah networks with other professionals through her memberships in the Institute of Internal Auditors, the Risk Management Society and the Women's Accountants Special Interest Group.
