MINNEAPOLIS, August 16, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rosemary Sundin, President of Orman Guidance Research, Inc., has been named a Worldwide Who's Who Professional of the Year in Marketing Services. While inclusion in Worldwide Who's Who is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Worldwide Who's Who membership.

Ms. Sundin brings 24 years of experience in marketing services to her position at Orman Guidance Research, a marketing research company. In 1988, she started as a recruiting department supervisor and was promoted to director of operations in 1991. In 1993, she became the vice president and partner of the company. In 2001, she completed the buyout and became president. An expert in business management, she is well-suited to handle the responsibilities of this position. She manages a team of 35-55 employees, leads daily project meetings, customizes clients' methodology, promotes the business, evaluates budgets, oversees work progress and all finances and conducts research as moderator and analyst for clients. Moving up the ladder to success, she credits her achievements to her mentor, Al Orman, founder of Orman Guidance Research, who helped shape many opportunities for her. Ms. Sundin studied at the College of St. Catherine and Cardinal Stritch University in pursuit of her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and retains membership with the Marketing Research Association and the Qualitative Research Consultants Association. She is a regular guest speaker at area colleges and universities and contributes periodic articles to the Minnesota Chapter of the QRCA. Devoted to the growth of the staff at Orman Guidance Research, Ms. Sundin crafted an employee benefits plan that is second-to-none in the industry, including health and wellness benefits and profit sharing. She was thrilled last year to ask her staff to participate in decision-making about their own bonuses - a first in the company's 37 year history.

Ms. Sundin also values life achievements at Orman as they extend to her three children. One daughter is currently studying for a Ph.D. while the other daughter recently received a scholarship to attend Parsons Paris. Her son is a captain in the U.S. Army and is currently readying for his second deployment to Afghanistan. Aside from appreciating the success of career and family, Ms. Sundin also enjoys playing classical piano and performs lead vocals in a classic rock band; she is an avid outdoor enthusiast and loves hiking, camping and canoeing in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Always up for extreme adventures, in 2011 she tried parachuting for the first time and so far has made two successful jumps. That was such a thrill — she even treated nine members of the Orman Guidance Research staff to the experience!
