DEERFIELD BEACH, FL, August 22, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- MyAddressUS.com announced today it will "keep it simple" by introducing a new Fee Plan for its Memberships. There are two things customers will pay for, a US Address and Forwarding Services.
"The plan has always been to keep it simple" states Raj Lwin, Managing Partner of MyAddressUS.com. "Customers pay a one-time Account Setup Fee for Standard Membership or a Monthly Fee for Premium. After that, unless they have mail or packages to ship, or if they want mail to be scanned/emailed, then there's a cost. And that's it".
Unlike other providers, MyAddressUS does not charge for inactivity, late payments, storage, re-weighing, returns, etc... "International purchasing and shipping is complicated enough. We're a big part of the process so why add more confusion to the pricing piece" says Raj.
Additionally, prospective customers can easily compare MyAddressUS' plans to others. Where shipping fees may be higher than their competitors, it's important to understand how shipping prices are calculated. It depends on the Shipping Weight which is the greater of the 1) actual weight or 2) calculated dimensional weight (H x L x W / 139). With MyAddressUS, packages are priced based on the manufacturer's packing and not the box the packages are received in. In many cases, especially Amazon, there is quite amount of "empty space" which basically becomes unnecessary shipping costs. "What our competitors do is up to them. We know we're doing the right thing which is taking care of our customers" comments Raj.
The next thing MyAddressUS.com did for their customer was to raise the insurance coverage on shipments. While most providers cover the up to $100 (which is actually provided by the Carrier), MyAddressUS extended this coverage to $300. "We wanted to make sure we provided a true benefit to the customer and just not a pass-through benefit from the Carriers. Why $300? The majority of packages are valued under this amount and the bottom line is our customers deserve this coverage. If it doesn't get there, we have monies to do it again" adds Raj.
