Mr. Langhans is an accomplished executive with more than 26 years of professional polymer expertise in his field. Seeing a need for a portable thermal polymer coating system for field joint repairs of pipe lines in the oil, gas and water/power industries, as well as surface preparation systems to prepare the sub straight (surface) prior to coating, has given his national and international customers the right tools and know how to make them succeed. The second business entity has been to support the development and distribution of a softer cleaning method, with the revolutionary adjustable portable blast pots for delicate building and structural restoration. This was the idea and inception of IBIX Surface Technologies LLC. The IBIX equipment has been introduced to the US Architect of the Capitol and has now been accepted as one of the soft cleaning tools for white marble buildings and monument cleaning. Mr. Langhans has established a network of qualified dealers across the nation to distribute his products. As CEO, the most important responsibility is to stay in touch and keep the network informed of any new products and methods that are developed. This support structure is the key to a strong IBIX global networking team. Mr. Langhans grew up in Canada, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration/Marketing Degree from Fanshawe College in 1987. Shortly after, he moved to Europe and worked for an international polymer company in Germany specializing in impact resistant polymers as key accounts manager for liner systems, as well as conveyor, and pump components, where he completed his hands-on polymer training in the lab. Mr. Langhans moved to Manchester, U.K. in 1994 to re-structure an older polymer company to new success. Upon his return, he finished his degree in Economics from Meunster College, Germany in 2001. He is a trained quality assurance Black Belt, and has established ISO certification for his last two international companies.

After 17 years abroad, he felt it was time to come back to North America with his acquired global know-how, and built a new polymer liner division for a multi-million dollar chemical company in Clearwater, FL. After 10 years and successful completion of his task as Executive VP of Marketing and Development and Partner of the firm, he took the opportunity to start his own venture with IBIX North America Surface Technologies LLC. With his long-term international business experience and polymer knowledge, he now offers the complete package to the North American industry.

IBIX application equipment, surface preparation systems and the right polymers combination are available out of one entity. The three segments of the business venture go hand in hand. Mr. Langhans strongly believes that an individual cannot succeed without a strong team and quality product. The service provided after the sale is much more important, since the customer needs the support behind the product.

Mr. Langhans attributes much of his success to the network he built over many years that has helped him forge long-term relationships with colleagues, customers and friends. He is a member of NACE Int. (National Association of Corrosion Engineers), as well as SSPC (The Society for Protective Coatings). Furthermore, he is a dedicated member of the WELS Lutheran Church organization. He is a happily married and dedicated husband and father. Looking ahead, he aspires to reach the $10 million mark for the new company, and continue to develop custom resins for his coating line (U-Coat Inc.) to support his other business entity.
