Upon attaining a Bachelor of Arts in finance and economics from the University of Western Ontario in 1988, Ms. Dottori-Attanasio pursued a career in the financial services sector. Throughout the past 22 years, she held various positions at different banks, including serving as the vice president of credit and specialized products and the chief risk officer at National Bank of Canada, and managing director and head of credit capital markets at National Bank Financial. Currently, she is the head of global corporate credit products for CIBC. In her position, she oversees corporate credit activities for CIBC's wholesale bank, which encompasses lending, deposit taking and trading room credit for corporate and institutional clients.

Ms. Dottori-Attanasio was recognized as one of Canada's 100 most powerful women in 2009. She credits much of her professional success to her hard work and dedication. Aside from her career, she is involved in many charitable organizations, including the Children's Aid Foundation, the CIBC Children's Miracle Fund and Bridgepoint Health Foundation.
