She also holds a law certification and completed a common professional exam and bar vocation course with distinction at Inns of Court Law School.

Active in her community, Ms. Smith is a member of the Australasian Land and Groundwater Association and the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand. When she's not providing legal counsel or consulting with environmental organizations, she enjoys skiing and bush walking.
