Succeed in Your Bible Studies with Lively Hip Hop, Chanting, and 3D Animation!

Comes in a home edition, for fun family bible study, and a church edition providing a complete program for worship in a church setting.

SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA, September 19, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- HisShow is a company specializing in the production of animation contents (CEO: Baek, Jong-ho, www.hisshow.co.kr). HisShow recently announced in October that they will be releasing a 3D animated version of the bible featuring recordings by hip-hop musicians.

The HisShow Bible is based on the concept of having fun with the Bible. It is an animation that features of course Jesus but also Jjoony who is the main character of HisShow. Its target audience is 5-8 year olds, with its combination of animation and chants, dance routines, and a sticker book among other things which make it almost as fun as studying the Bible with the animation character of Pororo. In short, it is designed so that children can have fun and relate to the Bible.

The HisShow Bible is composed of a total of 26 different parts. There is a home-edition for the family and also a church-edition meant to be used in the church setting. They plan on releasing one part per month in order.

The home edition is based on the idea of freeing educating about Christianity from the narrow confines of just being able to receive it at the church, and bringing the Bible home to the family setting where it can be easily accessed by everybody. The information in the Bible can be absorbed naturally because of the DVD and the Play Book, and the rhythmic dances and raps make it easy to memorize biblical verses. The strong point of the HisShow Bible is that it makes learning the Bible as simple and entertaining as watching animation.

The church edition, on the other hand, is meant to be used during a youth service held in a church. The HisShow Bible mixes in a diversity of entertainment-like elements and can be used to produce a program tailored to be used during a church service. It is designed to increase children's concentration on the content and change worship into what is for them a fun event.

The HisShow Bible transcends the bounds of time and space as well as the traditional genres with its wealth of characters and stimulates the curiosity and interest of children. The His Pop musicians use the ukulele (a traditional Hawaiian musical instrument) when telling the stories from the Bible using their Hwita and raps when singing. Other musicians are featured as well. It comes together to create a variety show that never gives a kid the chance to get bored.

Except for the character of Jesus, all of the animation characters that appear throughout the HisShow Bible are based on the actual appearances of the musicians that perform in the program. There is a plan in the works to use these same musicians to produce a live on-stage musical.

Baek Jong-ho, the CEO of HisShow, said, "I wanted to convey to children all of the glory and emotion that one gets from the Bible, and so I designed the HisShow Bible." He also said, "We are planning on using the animation characters that appear in the HisShow Bible to produce a character show, a camp program, and a summer Bible school."

Except for the HisShow Bible, there are practically no bible programs for children in the Korean market and only a very few on the world stage. This production has been designed from the stage of its initial planning to provide contents for the world-wide Christian market. After its release onto the Korean market, HisShow will be looking for partners who will help dub it in English and distribute it onto the US market.
