Efficient at assisting clients in achieving both short-term business goals as well as designing long-term strategic transactions, Ms. Barbieri also offers training and consulting to clients in the areas of crisis communication planning and critical compliance matters, including antitrust, privacy, export controls, anti-boycott, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and Social Media.

Prior to assuming her role at AEGIS, Ms. Barbieri worked as corporate counsel at Solae, LLC in St. Louis as well as served as primary counsel to management, sales, procurement, marketing, quality assurance and operations teams at its parent company, DuPont, in Wilmington, Delaware. While there, she served as a manager of strategic mergers and acquisitions and was an integral member of the business team who furthered its ability to deliver business goals and manage crisis situations. Ms. Barbieri also worked as a senior associate with SNR Denton, where she practiced in the areas of corporate law, agency and distribution, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property protection, commercial lending and real estate development incentives.

An accomplished public speaker as well, Ms. Barbieri attributes her success to her family's support and listening to her grandmother's teachings as a successful businesswoman.
