After obtaining a Ph.D. in pharmacology, Dr. Puri embarked on a 35-year career in clinical research and operations and drug development. A certified clinical pharmacologist, he served as a professor at Boston University's School of Medicine and held senior research positions at various companies, including Convance Inc., Parexel International and Hoeschst Roussel Pharmaceuticals, Inc. As a clinical research consultant for a pharmaceutical company, he provides clinical and operational expertise to resolve clinical drug development issues and conflicts. His consulting services draw on his extensive experience in therapeutic areas that include AIDS, cardiovascular practice, CNS and oncology. Offering his clients a unique set of scientific, clinical operations and project leadership skills, he has participated in more than 80 presentations and publications. After many years of success, Dr. Puri intends to continue his consulting career and travel more often.

Knowing the importance of a good education, Dr. Puri earned a bachelor's degree in pharmacology from the University of Saugar, along with a Master of Science and Ph.D. in pharmacology from the University of Rhode Island. Staying abreast of trends and developments in his industry, he is a member of the American Board of Clinical Pharmacology and a former member of ADA and DIA. His expertise has awarded him with a merit scholarship and a research fellowship. When he is away from the office, Dr. Puri enjoys traveling, serving as a soccer referee, playing tennis, gardening and listening to music.
