Ms. Eason is a retired, disabled U.S. Navy veteran. Empathizing with other disabled veterans, she volunteers for several organizations, including as Secretary for Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 1067, DAV Homeless Veterans Coordinator of Alabama and Commander of Chapter 26 of Disabled American Veterans in an attempt to provide her peers with relief. After retiring from the Navy, she attended and graduated from Alabama A&M University in 2006. Her theses research was published in the Diabetology and Metabolic Syndrome Journal in 2010. In November 2010, she became an independent beauty consultant at Mary Kay, a cosmetics and beauty products company. Having achieved years of success, she credits her tenacious personality. Looking ahead, she intends to run for government office.

Ms. Eason's academic background includes a bachelor's degree in political science from Old Dominion University and a master's degree in nutrition from Alabama A&M University. Furthermore, she is a dental technician and a member of Kappa Omicron Nu.
