Eric Mack, DDS Joins Apple Orthodontix in North TX to Perform Minor Oral Surgeries

"Dentistry was my destiny", says this young dentist who loves to build things, make things new again and always knew he belonged in the health field. Now he's doing routine oral surgeries at Apple Orthodontix in Dallas Ft. Worth TX.

QUINLAN, TX, October 31, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- For Eric Mack, all roads led to dentistry for as long as he could remember. "When I find something old and broken, I like to make it new again," says Mack. "I took six years of woodshop and have always liked working with my hands and building things. I've always known that I wanted to do something in the health field, work with my hands and make things new again. Dentistry was the obvious choice."

Dr. Mack received his DDS degree from the University of Texas Houston in 2004. He then joined the Public Health Service in Fairbanks, AK where, for two years, he provided dental services in remote villages. Afterwards, he opened a dental practice in Denver, CO and started doing simple oral surgery procedures. In 2012, he completed a post-graduate program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University Of Nebraska Medical Center College Of Dentistry.

"We're delighted to welcome Dr. Mack back to Apple Orthodontix," says CEO Chad M. Packard. "He worked for us from 1998 to 2000 as a chair side and lab assistant before he went to dental school. His recent addition to our staff of orthodontic specialists means that we can offer patients a more comprehensive version of orthodontic care which now includes routine oral surgical procedures. Dr. Mack is mostly performing wisdom teeth and bicuspid extractions, exposures, bonds and frenectomies. These procedures add to the convenience and continuity of care that Apple is known for."

Dr. Mack works out of several offices for Apple Orthodontix, the largest provider of orthodontic care in the north Texas area. He believes in early treatment and intervention. "People want to keep their teeth their whole life, so good oral health is important both cosmetically and functionally," says Mack. "The key is to develop good habits early so you don't cause any long term damage. If you want to enjoy eating forever, you'd better take care of your teeth!"

When not helping to create beautiful smiles, Dr. Mack spends time with his wife and six children, remodels houses, enjoys college football and plays an occasional game of golf.

Apple Orthodontix has full-time opportunities for motivated associate orthodontists capable of growing a practice. Ownership is an option. If interested, contact [email protected].
