Robin Lechner offers a fresh and personal approach to interior design, inspired by sophistication and innovative elegance

SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FL, November 5, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Robin Lechner, Principal & Founder of Robin Lechner Designs, was recently named a VIP member of Worldwide Who's Who. This special distinction honors individuals who have shown exceptional commitment to achieving personal and professional success.

Ms. Lechner's entrepreneurial spirit blossomed in the 70's while at Boston University. With a natural sense of style and an eye for fashion, she developed a signature line of skin care products and cosmetics, selling them, and working as a make-up artist. She returned to New York City to form a company where she designed, manufactured and sold accessories. She traveled extensively through Europe, the U.S. and the far east for inspiration and sources of production. After earning an MBA in interior design from Adelphi University, she harnessed her natural abilities into solid business techniques and organizational skills. In the early 80's, she sold her business and turned to philanthropic work. In 1999, Ms. Lechner carved out the time to create a nonprofit spiritual and health organization--the Center of Living Light & Living Light Reiki. Presented at the United Nations to international audiences, the center continues to serve communities in New York, Long Island, New Jersey and London.

Along with her husband, Arthur, Ms. Lechner formed a real estate partnership in 2000 in the Hamptons called the Arthur & Robin Team. The company was recognized for having one of the nation's top 2% of sales teams in the U.S. To supplement her real estate work, she pursued a career in interior design and home staging by founding Robin Lechner Designs, a firm that caters to clients in the Hamptons, Manhattan and southeast Florida. Focusing on clients needs, lifestyle and budget with a reputation for excellent customer service and collaboration, the company creates timeless and livable room interiors. As principal of the company, Ms. Lechner's goal is to exceed client expectations and build long-term relationships with them. Believing that staged homes are ones that sell faster and at higher prices, she takes pride in the services she provides, which include space planning, window treatments, color selection, furniture arrangement, decorative accessories, artwork, lighting, area rugs, customer furniture, closets, wallpaper, flooring and carpeting. She attributes her success in this field to her experience with buyers and sellers in the real estate industry, which allowed her to develop a talent for getting to know clients intimately. She says, "each day is a journey of discovery. I look forward to inspiring clients to create beautiful, comfortable and elegant residences, and to find happiness in the place they call home."

Ms. Lechner is an accomplished professional despite the many ordeals she has faced. Her husband of 27 years succumbed to his six-year ordeal with bladder and liver cancer just two weeks after their move to Florida. Ms. Lechner also struggled with stage 4 esophageal cancer. A survivor currently suffering from

permanent complications, she has been able to reinvent herself and her career and continues to persevere through her hurdles. In fact, she has written a curriculum and taught interior decorating through adult education programs to further her career. Eager for continued success, she aspires to add associates to Robin Lechner Designs and open a storefront to sell furnishings, decorative accessories and fabric.

Ms. Lechner holds a Bachelor of Arts from Boston University and is a certified interior decorator and commercial space and home stager. A licensed real estate broker in New York and Florida, she established and is President of the Aventura Chapter of the National Association of Professional Women, and maintain professional associations with the Aventura Marketing Council, Interior Decorating South Florida, the National Association of Realtors, the Miami Commercial Alliance, the Miami Association of Realtors, the American Society of Interior Designers and Worldwide Who's Who. Recognized for her excellent services, she was named Woman of the Year 2012 by the National Association of Professional Women and Power Broker in 2007. Involved in her community, she supports her local chamber of commerce and founded Harley's Paws Parks, a nonprofit dog park support organization in New York. When she is not giving back to the community, she enjoys reading design and architectural history, writing on design topics to provide tips and resources, taking photos on nature walks for inspiration, and socializing with her friends.
