CHELAN, WA, November 7, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Judy McKenzie Wall, Retired Board Member for the Eastern Washington Growth Management Hearings Board, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in legal services.

Personally offered a position by Booth Gardner, the 19th governor of the U.S state of Washington, Ms. Wall began in her career as an administrative law judge and board member for the Eastern Washington Growth Management Hearings Board. Serving for 16 years, she has now retired from this position.

During her time in the legal field, Ms. Wall gained expertise in mediation and was charged with managing every third case on growth management issues and representing the agency on the governor's agency cabinet. The most gratifying aspect of her career was affecting positive changes within state government. Although she is a retiree, she plans to serve as a judge in Olympia, on the amendment to the Comprehensive Plan for improvements.

Ms. Wall studied mediation and law at the University of Nevada and earned certifications in judicial development, with concentrations in administrative law adjudication skills, and alternative dispute resolution skills, from The National Judicial College. She is a member of the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce, from which she received the Citizen of the Year Award, the Washington Mediation Association, and the Washington State Boating Police Officers Association, and is a lifetime member of Kiwanis International. Looking ahead, she plans to work with families and communities in the field of mediation.
