Originally from Singapore, Terrence Cheong grew up influenced by his father's success as an accountant and his own drive to succeed in the business world. Able to communicate in both Mandarin and several Chinese dialects, including Hokkien, he took a step in the right direction beginning with his earning a bachelor's degree in commerce from the University of Western Australia and a master of business administration from Deakin University.

With more than 16 years of professional experience, Mr. Cheong's expertise in auditing, business advisory, superannuation and taxation stems from opportunities garnered in both Australia and Singapore, having commenced his career as an auditor in Singapore. In his current role, he utilises the knowledge he has gained to manage the daily operations of his firm, which includes overseeing the performance of his CPA team, managing finances and budgeting for the company and providing clients with exceptional accounting and financial consulting services.

Attributing his success to having a good team and a family who has always supported him, Mr. Cheong feels the highlight of his career was the expansion of his company from a sole proprietorship to a team of five, all in the short span of eight years since establishing his practice. To his credit, Mr. Cheong is designated as a registered company auditor, chartered tax adviser and was also recognised and elected by his peers to the post of Divisional Councillor of the Western Australia division of CPA Australia.

Extremely active in the professional community, Mr. Cheong is affiliated with several professional industry-related organisations. He is a committee member of the Singapore Western Australia Network, an associate fellow of the Australian Institute of Management, an associate member of the Association of Business Executives, as well as a Councillor at the University of Western Australia Graduates Association. In addition, Mr. Cheong belongs to the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore, the Taxation Institute of Australia, the Melville Cockburn Chamber of Commerce and the CPA Toastmasters Chapter in Western Australia.
