Frances Ann Warnock Inducted into Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Project Management

    MONA VALE, NSW, AUSTRALIA, November 12, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Frances Ann Warnock, Owner and Principal Consultant for Safe Food Connexions, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in project management.

Prior to working internationally, Ms. Warnock had a distinguished career in Australia spanning 30 years working with the food industry, tertiary education and government health sectors. Five years ago, she started her own food safety and nutrition consultancy, called Safe Food Connexions, of which she serves as a principal consultant. Using her expertise in program and project management and strategic communications, she conducts formative research to underpin the planning of strategic communication campaigns. She specializes in food safety, public education, nutrition, health promotion and disease prevention and spends her time researching and evaluating projects.

Ms. Warnock started Safe Food Connexions because it provided a unique opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives at the most basic humanitarian level, offering the provision of safe and nutritious food for all. It also offers wonderful opportunities for learning and working both nationally and internationally in the field of food safety, health promotion and disease prevention. In her current position, she networks and collaborates in order to build private-public partnership programs. She also provides technical advice and project management services for international food and health development agencies working with governments and NGOs to improve food safety and nutrition awareness, knowledge and practices.

In 1976, Ms. Warnock graduated with honors from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Science in Food Technology. She went on to earn a Graduate Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics from Flinders University of South Australia, and a Graduate Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education and Teaching from University of South Australia. In 2010, she earned a Diploma of Project Management from the University of New England.

Throughout her 35-year career, she names the highlight of her career to be her appointment in 2006 by the World Health Organization (WHO) to work as an international expert on Food Safety Education in developing countries of South East Asia. It was a turning point in her career, which provided significant new opportunities and challenges to contribute toward a better understanding of food safety risks to address in public health interventions. She attributes her success to her innate passion, integrity, focus and drive to improve consumer and public health through production and promotion of safe and nutritious food for all.
