Fatal Error -- "Wise, Haunting, Deeply Moving...Unforgettable!"

Grief, guilt, blame and forgiveness. One fatal error, and someone died--who's to blame? In this psychological thriller, nothing can be forgotten and much must be forgiven before Katrina and Sergeant Kindle's undercover officers will be free to heal.

ST. PAUL, AB, December 03, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- What happens when a young girl is finally extricated from a biker gang?

In FATAL ERROR, the second novel in Eileen Schuh's BackTracker series, the characters struggle with the aftermath of the police operation that brought down one of North America's most notorious biker gangs in the first book of the series, THE TRAZ.

"I expect FATAL ERROR to be as popular as THE TRAZ with youngsters and the adults in their lives," says Schuh, who notes she has used THE TRAZ as a teaching tool for at-risk children in various youth venues, such as the North Slave Young Offenders Facility. "What the teens may like most about this story is that it's not only young Katrina who's growing and learning and at times failing, but the adult characters, too."

FATAL ERROR was launched to accolades. "Schuh creates a compassionate tale of human behavior and consequences," says Donna Carrick, award-winning author of The First Excellence. "Writing with her trademark depth and intelligence, she draws us into the compelling world of teen-runaway Katrina Buckhold."

As with The Traz, FATAL ERROR comes with a downloadable pdf Teaching/Discussion guide http://www.eileenschuh.com/readers-discussion-guides/ that leads young readers and adults alike, through the social dilemmas faced by the characters. Some topics explored in the guide are our concepts of justice, dealing with consequences, and analyzing risks vs rewards.
