Ms. Nish has been the president of Execuserv plus for 24 years. She and her team of dedicated professionals have extensive experience in market research, needs assessment studies, tourism/hospitality development programs, and entrepreneurial training and coaching programs. Execuserv administers the government of Alberta's self-employment program to assist eligible applicants who want to start their own businesses. In addition, the company provides training on business planning, effective speaking, personal budgeting, project management, accounting and bookkeeping, marketing, sales techniques, business image and etiquette, website development, networking, employment standards, customer service, and legal matters.

With a background in the tourism and hospitality industry, Ms. Nish holds particular expertise in training and public speaking. Her many duties as president of Execuserv plus include managing the office, overseeing education and training programs, holding workshops covering needs analysis, and handling strategic planning, marketing, and customer service. She also does public speaking on etiquette dining to large groups.

Additionally, Ms. Nish rents out the training rooms to organizations that want to use the company's state-of-the-art facility. Execuserv plus Inc. has been headquartered in Lethbridge, Alberta, since 1988. The facility boasts two of the most modern training centers in the city. One training room is large enough to accommodate 30 and includes a "smart" technologies podium with an interactive display system, and includes HDM1, DVD, VHS, a full media connection center and public address with microphone. The other room accommodates 15 and is equipped with a whiteboard with a projection screen. An overhead projector is available for use with a computer if required.

Ms. Nish attributes her success to her patience, diligence and perseverance. She opened her business profession after gaining experience in the tourism and hospitality industry because she had always wanted to be her own boss. She holds a diploma in business administration from Lethbridge College and is a member of several community organizations, including the Shannock County Tourism Association, Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce, Business Advisory Group, and YWCA. In addition, she is on the Advisory Council for the Faculty of the Management. Ms. Nish's professional efforts have been honored with various tourism awards and a 2009 nomination for Business of the Year.
