Celebrity Interviewer Marc Berman Returns As Host of Hard Rock Rising, Atlantic City

    ATLANTIC CITY, NJ, February 25, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- South Jersey radio personality Marc Berman will return as host of Hard Rock Rising, The Global Battle of the Bands, Atlantic City edition.

Hard Rock Rising is the world's largest and most far-reaching battle of the bands competition. Hard Rock Rising Atlantic City takes place at the Hard Rock Cafe located in Trump Taj Mahal, right off the Atlantic City Boardwalk.

Competition dates are, Friday, February 22, Friday, March 8, Friday, March 15 and the final battle, March 29.

Marc Berman hosts South Jersey's premiere weekly entertainment talk show featuring celebrity interviews with the biggest names in the world of music, reality TV, comedy and pop culture. The show also opens the door for unsigned, indie and emerging artists. Each week Marc interviews a different emerging band or solo performer live in the studio. Following open registration, fans decided who moves on to the live performance phase of the program and can vote on any Hard Rock's city-specific, Facebook page by downloading free tracks from bands of their choice. After fans choose their favorites, participating Hard Rock Cafe locations around the world will host a series of live competitions featuring these local bands.

One winner will be selected from each location by a panel of local industry judges. Once the top 25 are determined, a panel of music industry professionals; including Steven Van Zandt of the E Street Band, Live Nation Senior Vice President of Music Toby Leighton-Pope ,and Hard Rock Records' Artist Relations Executives John Kirkpatrick, James Buell and Blake Smith; will select the grand prize winner and two runner up bands.

The Tour Cities are: 1) Sydney, Australia, 2) Tokyo, Japan, 3) Hong Kong, 4) London, England, 5) Chicago IL, USA and 6) Honolulu, HI, USA.

In addition, the Grand Prize Winner will receive either $10,000.00 worth of equipment/gear for the Band or a $10,000.00 check, to be awarded upon the conclusion of the Concert Tour and the Band's participation in all six Grand Prize Performances

Record Deal: After the conclusion of the Concert Tour and the participation of the Grand Prize Winner in all six Grand Prize Performances, the Grand Prize Winner will receive the opportunity to enter into a recording contract with Hard Rock Records.

Two runner up prizes: Each eligible Band awarded a Runner-Up Prize will receive either $10,000 worth of equipment/gear for the Band or a $10,000 check.
