Mr. Ba, who has more than two decades of experience in the automotive industry, has been the vice president of Europe business units for Varroc Group for the past year. The company, which maintains offices around the globe, is one of the world's largest manufacturers and distributors of automotive parts. Maintaining 19 plants that produce 16 different classes of parts, the company generates more than $450 million in revenue annually. In his leadership role, Mr. Ba oversees all European business responsibilities, including profit management, programs and account management, business development, client relations and strategic planning.

Prior to assuming his current position with Varroc Group, Mr. Ba filled a number of key roles with other leading companies in the field, including serving as the director of Europe business units for Visteon and a program manager for Valeo. Most recently, Mr. Ba functioned as the managing director of the French division of the Varroc Group. During his long career, he has earned a reputation for being a dynamic, results-oriented business operations executive with expertise in sales and program management.

Mr. Ba, who entered the manufacturing industry after studying engineering sciences in college and university, attributes his success to his broad knowledge in engineering as well as business administration, but also a competitive nature that drives him to be the best at what he does. Over the next five years, he would like to transition into a consulting role or launch his own company.

Mr. Ba holds a master's degree in electronic & electrical engineering from ENSEA and an MBA in finance and general management from INSEAD. An active member of the field, he stays abreast of the latest auto industry trends through his involvement with several professional groups and organizations. In his free time, he enjoys volunteering with local charities and attending concerts.
