OLATHE, KS, April 11, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Brian Cavataio, President & Chief Executive Officer of BWC Executive Group LLC, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in staffing services.
Mr. Cavataio is originally from the suburbs of Chicago and graduated from high school at McHenry W. Campus. Upon graduation, Mr. Cavataio attended Carthage College in Kenosha, Wis. After completing a year of secondary education, Mr. Cavataio decided to join the Air Force and explore opportunities.
He began his Air Force career as an air traffic controller, eventually cross-training out of air traffic into bioenvironmental engineering, holding several duty stations in his six year commitment including Luke Air Force Base (Phoenix, Ariz.); Brooks AFB, (San Antonio, Tex.); Keesler AFB, (Bioloxi, Miss.); Grand Forks AFB, (Grand Forks, N.D.); Wright Patterson AFB, (Dayton, Ohio) and Lackland AFB, (San Antonio, Tex.).
During his time at Luke AFB, Mr. Cavataio was a member of the Luke AFB Honor Guard participating in military funerals, presenting of the colors, pageants, commencements, and award ceremonies. He also played semi-professional football while in the Air Force, playing two years with the Phoenix Hurricanes, a year with the Dayton Drive, and a year with the Burlington Blue Devils.
Upon separation from the Air Force, he attended the University of Illinois of Chicago medical school program. This is where Mr. Cavataio had a change of heart and embarked on a new path toward business.
Mr. Cavataio's recruiting career began at University of Phoenix, helping guide future students, understanding what their career goals were and putting them on course for a graduation plan. While in this role, he also attended the University of Phoenix and graduated with a bachelor's degree in business. He also later obtained an MBA from Ottawa University.
Mr. Cavataio was eventually recruited away from the University to work for an executive staffing firm specializing in accounting and finance. He hit the ground running and made his first placement in just a month's time. After working for this agency for two years, Mr. Cavataio cut ties and launched his executive staffing firm, BWC Executive Group LLC, in 2011.
Now at the helm of BWC Executive Group LLC, which provides accounting, finance and C-level direct-hire placement services for distribution, manufacturing, and conglomerate industries, Mr. Cavataio not only oversees all business operations, he also sources out candidates, negotiates fee agreements and spearheads marketing strategies. Recognized by his peers for his expertise in finding those hard-to-find candidates, he attributes his success to his humble nature, the support of his wife and not being a sales person, but a liaison and partner for his clients. He holds Professional Human Resource Certification and maintains membership with the Society for Human Resource Management.
The achievements of which Mr. Cavataio is most proud include:
*Being named Airman of the Year by the United States Air Force in 2004 for saving $2 million by developing base ventilation and hazmat chemicals program that reduced man hours, materials and parts, safety and exposure time by 652 man hours.
*Developing and maintaining procurement, labeling, storage, safe handling, compatibilities, licensing and documentation for over 1,300 hazardous chemicals with 100-percent compliance.
*Eliminating 200 man-hours a month, saving $495,000 by reducing storage reaction threat and introducing new issue points and storage capabilities of biological chemicals.
*Producing $525,000 in-direct hire fees (after splits) in one and a half years.
BWC Executive Group sets itself apart from others by selectively recruiting top talent based on each client's specific parameters. While some in the industry send any and all candidates and hope someone will stick, BWC Executive Group has a consultative interview to learn a client's needs and directly recruit from competitors, similar industries, referrals, prior business contacts, and other recruitment avenues. They produce results in days, rather than weeks. This quote summarizes what BWC believes to be a focal point to their success: "Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four hours sharpening the axe." - Abraham Lincoln.
