I'm a really busy guy with two jobs, a family to take care of, and other personal responsibilities and obligations. I don't have hours to work out every day, and I honestly wouldn't want to, even though I love fitness. The body needs time to rest. So I thought it was cool that I was able to tailor the program based on the amount of time each day and each week that I honestly could plan to commit. I'd tried programs in the past that placed huge demands on my time. I bet you can guess what happened. Four Different Formulas

The customization to the program takes the form of four patented formulas which Kyle and other nutritionists and fitness experts put together. The other thing that is great about having you supply your own activity level before calculating the diet requirements is that there really is no other way to eat right. A lot of people make the mistake of eating less and working out more. You can't do this without depriving your body of the nutrition it needs to put on muscle. It's an unhealthy mistake and a very common one--I made it myself in the past and paid for it. If you plan to work out more, the program will tell you to eat more. If you plan to work out less, the program will tell you to eat less.

Recommended Foods

What types of foods did I eat while I was following the program? There were a lot of vegetables: spinach, tomatoes, carrots, broccoli and leafy greens all figured into my diet on a regular basis. I also ate a lot of berries. Lean meat, especially fish and poultry, played a prominent role. Eggs were another big part of the diet, as were oats, flax seeds, and nuts. Yogurt and fish oil were also included.

Muscle Maximizer Exercise Program

The muscle training exercises include a variety of workouts designed to exercise different muscles in your body. Kyle's program is very conscientious when it comes to rest periods. You're encouraged to alternate the muscle groups you work out so that you give your muscles adequate recovery time to rebuild and grow after you work them out. Consistency is emphasized over duration or frequency. The most important thing is that you stick to the program based on the level of activity you select.

My Results

The most important part of this review of course is what Muscle Maximizer helped me to accomplish. As I said, I'd tried a few other exercise programs in the past. I admit that spending money on fitness is nothing new to me--but at least I can say now I'm probably done spending money on training programs, because this one is the last one I'll ever need.

I started with Muscle Maximizer 6 weeks ago. I haven't lost noticeable weight, in fact I have gained some weight but this is because I've been building muscle and I didn't actually have that much fat to burn in the first place. My clothes fit better, though, and when I look in the mirror I'm starting to notice that my arms are looking more toned, and when my shirt is off I can see a lot more contour in my abs and chest. This is just what I want as I didn't want to build much bulk but get lean instead. I am a lot happier with the guy I see in the mirror since I started doing the program.

This program does require time and discipline to follow through and get the ongoing benefit. There are a lot of things that make this easier. You get to choose what you want to eat to some extent, and there are a lot of recommended foods. You don't have to spend money on supplements or equipment, and you can customize the workouts based on what you realistically think you can work into your schedule, and then you calculate the diet plan from there.

This does take commitment and consistency, but that was the other great thing I got out of doing Muscle Maximizer. In the past, I thought the reason I couldn't put on muscle was because I had no follow-through. That was true to some degree, but it was also because I was picking programs that were too demanding. This program is more moderate, and it was great discovering that I was able to commit to meeting my fitness goals as a result. Discovering that self-discipline has been at least as exciting as building muscle. So if you think you can commit to a moderate, yet consistent approach to building muscle, give it a try! It not just about achieving your ideal body but also being able to maintain it, and this program being customizable helps in that aspect.
