Manufacturers of environmentally friendly consumer products will gather with "green retailers" for the first annual earthNOW expo in Las Vegas June 4-5, 2008.

/24-7PressRelease/ - LAS VEGAS, NV, October 23, 2007 - One of the fastest growing and profitable consumer product categories is green or eco-friendly products. Consumers are demanding Earth-friendly products, and big time retailers like Wal-Mart and Home Depot are getting in on the action. Big box discount retailers, specialty stores and e-tailers are all looking to add green to their product mix and profits.

As the green marketplace continues to expand, retailers are desperate to find the hottest new products. Retailers have been sending their buyers from trade show to trade show to seek out green consumer items in almost every product category.

earthNOW expo is a new trade show dedicated to the green consumer products market. This is the only business-to-business trade show focused specifically on Earth-friendly consumer products. Retail store buyers will now be able to visit one trade show to see the latest eco-friendly consumer products and services. Plus, attendees will network with investors, industry consultants and other professionals within this fast changing and exploding marketplace.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to attend a conference program that will teach retailers how to start or make improvements to their eco-friendly product mix. Attendees will discover how green products will attract new customers and will benefit their business through a more positive public image.

earthNOW expo will be held June 4-5, 2008 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Over 500 booths are expected, representing hundreds of companies and thousands of items. Consumer product manufacturers looking to expand into this marketplace should exhibit at earthNow expo.

earthNOW expo show manager Bob Peters said, "There are a lot of local and regional green festivals throughout the country. While these events help to educate and protect the environment, earthNOW expo is focusing on the business-to-business aspect of selling green products."

Peters added, "In the past, business owners thought earth-friendly and capitalism could not coexist, but manufactures and retailers are realizing consumers are demanding environmentally friendly products, and there is lots of money to be made in this consumer products category."

Consumers are becoming more educated about individual environmental responsibility and will choose a green product over a standard product when given the choice. In many cases, consumers are even willing to pay a higher price for a green item.

Smart manufacturers that notice and understand this trend and produce Earth-friendly products and market their products as eco-friendly will be winners in the long run.

The Las Vegas Convention Center will play host to the first annual earthNOW expo. Las Vegas is the trade show capital of the world due to affordable travel packages. While Las Vegas is known for its glitz, glamour, restaurants and entertainment, many Strip hotels are environmentally high tech. For example, the world famous fountains at the Bellagio Resort uses recycled water.

Manufacturers, distributors and service companies looking for new customers and seeking to gain insight into the green products marketplace should exhibit at earthNOW expo.
