San Diego Executives Smoking for Charity

    SAN DIEGO, CA, June 07, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- San Diego's exclusive Executive Cigar Club, Smokin DealMakers, had their launch party yesterday at Morgan Run Club and Resort in splendid Rancho Santa Fe and it was an outstanding success with a 40% oversold crowd. The club, which aims to unite San Diego's C-class and EVPs of the business community, as well as sports and film celebrities, also has the goal of raising money for abused and homeless dogs. Most of their profits will go to the North Shore Animal League, or any other more imminent need dogs may have, such as when disaster strikes with tornadoes.

The club, launched by Steven Riznyk, CEO of SanDiegoBizLaw, a business law and consulting firm, was created out of a need expressed by many of its high net worth and business-powerful clients. Its aim is not to exclude persons in different business levels, but rather to unite people who share similar business challenges. As Mr. Riznyk explained at the event, cat people and dog people have little in common, so it only makes sense to group people with similar interests and habits. When offered the microphone in order to introduce themselves and their companies, an abundance of people chose instead to talk about their charitable causes, foregoing branding their companies; "I'm honored to be in the midst of this caliber of people" stated Mr Riznyk.

Smokin DealMakers meets on the first Tuesday of every month, but will not meet in July due to the fact that July 4th is in the first week of the month and many Smokin DealMakers will be out of town. The next event will be on the Aria Lawn of the Grand Del Mar, and a craps table will be available for those who want to learn or play, as many DealMakers gamble both on and off business hours; after all, it's part of the entrepreneurial game. Barry Cohen will once again be performing. He sang his heart out yesterday with a variety of songs, and many Sinatra favorites, creating an ambiance that made the evening magical.

The men were dressed in Tuxedos and dark suits, the ladies in gorgeous dresses and gowns; one would have trouble believing it to be a Tuesday. The group of over 100 were a very powerful group, and as Steven Riznyk stated, was of the caliber that could most likely get anything in the business world accomplished in 24 hours if combined; that sentiment was echoed by many who felt the power behind the well-groomed and economically savvy set.

The first event was at no cost to the attendees, as the corporate sponsor was SanDiegoBizLaw. The second of three events before people have to become members, will cost a modest $25 to attend, in an effort to offset some of the costs and also start raising money for homeless and abused dogs.
