Glenda D. Smith Honored by Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Telecommunications

    PHILADELPHIA, July 22, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Glenda Smith, Community Activist, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in telecommunications.

Ms. Smith has 35 years of professional experience, with seven years as a community activist. Over the years, she has established herself as an expert in the fields of quality assurance, science, technical engineering, and mathematics. She attributes her success to her determination, adeptness and the support she receives from her colleagues. The highlight of her career was receiving a special recognition that was presented to her at the Women of Color STEM Conference on October 29, 2010 in Dallas.

Ms. Smith received a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Chemistry from Lincoln University in 1976. She is an advisor of Coquico and a member of the Philadelphia Chapter of BDPA. In her spare time, she is an advocate for the disabled. She enjoys spending her downtime with her grandchildren, as well as visiting museums and aquariums, traveling, and reading. In years to come, Ms. Smith aspires to operate a local nonprofit organization dedicated to the improvement of child and elder care.
