Amy D. Albertus Showcases Professional Accomplishments through Worldwide Branding

    ALBEQUERQUE, NM, October 17, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Amy D. Albertus, Owner of Amy's Little Angels, has been recognized by Worldwide Branding for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in child care.

Ms. Albertus has seven years of experience as the owner of Amy's Little Angels. As an expert in child care, she provides respite care to children in foster care, as well as to disabled adults. On a daily basis, she takes in children up to 12 years old, in addition to transporting children to and from school. She also helps children with homework and holds a special pre-school hour, where children work with workbooks, in order to prepare them for grade school. Ms. Albertus helps other foster parents by temporarily caring for their children when the parents need a temporary respite from the stresses of child care.

In addition to Ms. Albertus' role within Amy's Little Angels daycare, she is a foster mother, and has a volunteer history at a men's shelter and Albuquerque Rescue Mission. Prior to her current role, she was the business manager of a car dealership. Ms. Albertus attributes her success to her mother's support and encouragement to do what makes her happy. She set a good example for Ms. Albertus so that she could go on to help others, which she would later do. Ms. Albertus became involved in her profession because initially, she was doing accounting in a car dealership and wanted to go into accounting. She opened the daycare to be with her daughter, and loved it; she then decided to go back for degree in human services. She loves seeing how remarkable and resilient the children were, and she wants to have her own counseling practices.

Ms. Albertus is pursuing a Master of Science in mental health counseling from the University of Phoenix, having received a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from that institution in 2012. In addition to her degrees, she completed a certified early childhood course in nutrition and the nurtured heart approach, and she is a licensed foster care provider and daycare provider in the State of New Mexico. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the mountains, hiking, reading, and roller skating with her children. In years to come, Ms. Albertus plans to acquire an independent license in family counseling.
