Mike Pietrobon Contributes to Australia's Booming Mining Industry

    ATHELSTONE, SOUTH AUSTRALIA, November 21, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mike Pietrobon, Principal Metallurgist of MinProcesSer Pty Ltd., has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in metallurgical consulting services.

Mr. Pietrobon has 25 years of professional experience, with 11 years as Principal Metallurgist of MinProcesSer Pty Ltd. Over the years, he has established himself as an expert in mineral processing, chemistry and engineering. On a daily basis, he provides services for mining companies regarding processing operations. He also visits sites to discuss any problems that employees are having, and he regularly interacts with clients to ensure that projects are proceeding in accordance with client needs. MinProcesSer Pty Ltd is a metallurgical consultancy that provides mineral processing and metallurgical consulting services.

Rather than having one major achievement to reflect on as a highlight of his career, Mr. Pietrobon has what he refers to as "a number of smaller wins. Explaining something to a colleague and then seeing them refer to this themselves or apply the knowledge that I have passed on, that's a win."

Looking back, he attributes his success to his ability to build relationships, as well as his honesty. He became involved in his profession because of his expertise in the field of chemistry. Recognizing the value of a solid education, Mr. Pietrobon received a Master of Science in mineral processing from the University of South Australia in 1997, a bachelor's degree in organic chemistry from The University of Adelaide in 1987, and a Bachelor of Science in physical/inorganic and organic chemistry from The University of Adelaide in 1986. He was recently inducted into Worldwide Branding and also maintains affiliation with The Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. In years to come, Mr. Pietrobon intends to mentor younger industry professionals. He is also peer reviewing ongoing projects and setting up new ones.
