DETROIT, MI, January 09, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Clint Parker has a prior nomination to the prestigious Niche awards which are held annually at the Philadelphia Convention Center.

Clint's winning nominations are his chair, titled "repose for the Queen of Hearts", and "Dragonfly box 1."

In consideration of the awards Clint states: "The work quality of the artists and artisans in the Professional division of this competition are some of the best I've ever seen. The award goes to the best of the best, the way it should be."

The Niche Award competition recognizes excellence and innovation in North American craft. In the professional division, judging is based on three main criteria: technical excellence in surface design and form, market viability, and a distinct quality of unique, original and creative thought.
